Some Call It Madness

There is a kind of feeling that refuses to arrive quietly. Colour moves across the canvas while a familiar gesture, a voice on the other end of a telephone, holds everything still for a moment. Between the movement and the pause, there is room for something personal.

Some call it madness. Sometimes it is simply the courage to feel deeply, to follow an impulse, to let a little more of yourself show. This work leaves that feeling open, without asking it to become smaller or easier to explain.
